Virtues
of the Qur'an
The greatest
virtue of the Holy Qur'an is that it is the word of Allah and not of any human
being. Just as Allah Ta'ala has superiority over His creation, the Holy Qur'an
has superiority over all the books and words of the world. There is no book
like it in the whole world, nor will it come until the Day of Resurrection,
because it is the last book of Allah Almighty and it will last until the Day of
Resurrection.
5. The
Holy Quran and the people of Hell: The saying of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him) that the person who recites the Quran and memorizes it and
considers its halal to be halal and its forbidden to be forbidden, Allah will
admit him to Paradise and He will accept his intercession for ten such men from
his family for whom hell has become obligatory.
